We were in our rooms (960 and 962 Carson tower) and the luggage arrived shortly after. We checked our luggage at the front desk and returned at noon as told. March 5 about an 18 hour stay before a morning flight, we checked in about 11a.m. They did give us the non-emergency number to the LVPD and we spent a couple hours waiting in the security office for them to arrive. Security wasn't too helpful and of course could not tell us if this had happened to anyone else. When we returned we found every suitcase had been gone through, cameras, binoculars, ipad, Kindle, chagers, jewelry, and cash were taken (we were packed for a trip to Hawaii). We left the room for about 4 hours to gamble (making sure the door was shut -it's a habit) and have dinner knowing we needed to have an early night with an early flight out the next morning. He then knocked on the adjoining room door with the same senario. Before we could get to the door to see who it was, a key card was used and a man was standing there in a uniform saying we was there for 'general maintenance.' Since the room was occupied, he left. We had only been in our room a short time when we heard a knock on the door.
